Founded robot in June 1986 after working as a Creative Director at Dai-Ichi Kikaku (later ADK). Built the company from advertising planning into a film producer, beginning with Shunji Iwai's 'Love Letter' in 1995. Now deceased; the company describes his spirit as continuing to run through it.
