Freelance Drone Cameraman working between Hokkaido and Tokyo, with a large body of aerial work on music videos and commercials. Trades as Tanaka Kusatsu. An FPV specialist: he shoots mainly with Five-inch Class Cinematic FPV Drones and has used DJI’s digital FPV system since early on, practising freestyle technique on almost every day he is not shooting, the flying skill is the craft, and he applies it to camera work. Profiled twice by Video Salon on FPV and aerial technique, and featured in the DRONE Kusatsu GUIDEBOOK alongside a TBS World Heritage cameraman and DJI Japan. Credits in this directory: drone on takara “Bright Dream”, on Awich’S “Wax on Wax off -Japan remix-” (prod. RZA), and drone operator on NUMBER_i“BON”. His lifework is separate and self-initiated: filming the four seasons of the Kushiro Wetlands in Hokkaido by drone and self-producing short films from it, work that has been shown and written about in its own right.
