Singer-songwriter, the vocalist of yoasobi as “ikura” and a solo artist under her own name Lilas Ikuta, she began releasing solo work before yoasobi and has continued in parallel. Graduated from the Information Music Course, department of music, Nihon University college of art. Was a member of the acoustic session unit Purasonika until 13 August 2021. Ayase found her through cover videos she was posting on Instagram, which is how yoasobi formed. Solo work and tie-ins: “A Hundred Flowers in Bloom”, the opening theme of the TV anime the apothecary Diaries (2025) and her first solo anime OP; “Rocket to the Moon ~ To the World I Believed In ~” for the Japanese version of Netflix’s over the moon (2020); “Light” (2020) written for Isehan’s Kiss Me documentary; “Answer” (2021), a Tokio Marine commercial song; “Sparkle” and “Promise of Romance” for abema’s Today, I Fell in Love.; “Humming” for Fuji TV’s Mezamashi Doyobi; and the album Sketch. Sang “(they long to be) Close to You” and “Winter Wonderland” for Google Pixel commercials with Nana Komatsu. Collaborations: milet × Aimer × Lilas Ikuta “Lingering Image” produced by Vaundy, used in a Sony WF-1000XM4 commercial; guest with Tokyo ska Paradise Orchestra; and her first song written FOR another artist, for Rei, in November, she featured on it too.
