Founder, president and producer of kirameki Inc. Studied film at an American university, returned to Japan, worked in television and advertising production, and founded kirameki in his early thirties, in october 2004. He built it bilingual on purpose: at the time, Japanese TVCM directors were the default, the work concentrated on a handful of top names, and those names could rarely be secured, so he built a company whose staff could work in English and cast internationally, on the principle that if the goal is better work, the best staffing matters more than nationality. Produces with international directors, DPs and photographers for TVCM, web film and graphic advertising, strongest in fashion and beauty and larger campaigns. Served as a Dubai Lynx film craft juror in 2024. One signature job paired the company with a director who has won the academy award for best picture and best director, shooting Hollywood figures.
