Joined drawing and manual in 2022 after a formative trip to Cambodia as a student made him recognise the value of Japanese culture. On returning he worked at a sake brewery, drawn to the daily life of makers, and to footage of Akita he happened to see, leading him to pursue 'visual expression that conveys people's feelings beyond words'. Works from a base of photography and film. Studied under Kyotaro Hayashi.
