Cinematographer and photographer. Began at a studio in Osaka in 2007, then from 2008 studied under Takafumi Miyamoto and Leslie Kee. Went independent in 2010 and has worked as a photographer and cameraman based in Tokyo ever since, across TV commercials, music videos and advertising graphics. Known for capturing the atmosphere of a place, and for range, from soft tones to sharp ones. Speaks English, so takes on many overseas projects and works both inside and outside Japan. Represented by dep management and momo inc. Awards: First Prize at the golden city Gate 2019 for ANA's in-flight safety video; Silver at ADFEST and Bronze at adstars in 2018 for 'kintsugi pieces in Harmony' (design, self-promotion); Cable Award 2017 for Yokohama Cable Vision.
