São Paulo director with a background in still photography and visual arts who started directing indie fashion films and music videos at seventeen and dropped out of a graphic design degree. Began his directing career in 2018 as half of Vira-Lata with Duran Sodré, a duo whose stated aim was the mundane poetry of real life, films that are “raw and poetic, honest and sensorial — real films for real people”. Their short doc nininho took bronze for new talent at ciclope latino 2019. Now a solo director with worldwide representation by Stink Films, aiming at work that is “strong yet minimal, rooted in cinematic language”. He also writes and shoots.
