Animation director and writer, best known for Directing Pop Team Epic (2018, the 2019 specials and the 2022 second season, also series composition), GAL & Dino (2020) and ORE, Tsushima (2021). Twenty years of web and short-form animation before that, Kotatsu Cat and Oshiruko (2005), the Adachi-ku “Adachin” series (2007–10), Shogi Hour (2008), Space Cat Theater, plus the Kodansha Morning commercials (2011), the 08th Independent Animation Festival opening, and Music Videos: Winner (2007), Apprentice Chameleon (2010), OK Diner (2015), Soraru × Rib × Neru “How Annoying” (2020), To You (2023). Directed the animated web video “Summer Begins” for caloriemate (2021), the same brand whose live-action campaign is already in this directory through AOI Pro. Also We Can’t Go On Air! (2022) and two runs of Encyclopedia of Unfortunate Creatures; a Warner Music Japan promotion partner on the film Mirai. His 2009 short “Fumiko’s Confession” was nominated for the YouTube Awards.
