Italian director, producer and writer, based in London since 2004 and working through Pulse Films, where he is also managing director of Pulse Films Italia, the company’s Italian arm, launched in june 2020 with Martina Zambeletti as executive producer, opened with a feature documentary on Sergio Leone drawing on archive from the Cineteca di bologna. Twenty-nine director credits on IMVDb across two markets: in the UK and internationally, Gorillaz “Hallelujah Money” (co-directed with the band), the killers, the Rolling Stones, the 1975, London Grammar “Sights”, Hurts “Illuminated”, James Blunt, two door cinema club “Next Year”, The Gaslight Anthem; and in Italy, Diodato “Fai rumore” and “Ti muovi”, Manuel Agnelli, MAX GAZZÉ, Vasco Brondi. Brands include Porsche, Budweiser, peroni, adidas and the Guitar Hero Live game. Music documentary and concert film are his second track: blur’s no distance left to run (produced and directed) and Blur: live at Hyde Park (2010); Noi siamo Afterhours (2018); Nick Drake – songs in a conversation (2019); Laura Marling: live from Union Chapel (2020); Mahmood (2022); Paolo Conte alla Scala (2023); LA Pergola: Confessioni Di Un Teatro (2021); and Il Segreto Di Liberato (2024), an Adult Animated Documentary co-directed with Francesco Lettieri, Giuseppe Squillaci and lrnz, which took $1.2m at the Italian box office. Also the short Chiusi Fuori (2022) with stefano accorsi and Colin firth, shot between the Teatro della Pergola and London, and a live-action sequence for Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: return to hogwarts (2022).
