Director of TV commercials, music videos and films in Japan, and a member of the director collective THE DIRECTORS GUILD since 2010. He joined Tohokushinsha in 2002, debuted as a director in 2005 and was selected for the AdFest 2006 Short Film Session; he went freelance in 2009 and worked in the US before returning to Japan. His commercials include spots for Acom, SoftBank, Suzuki, SHARP AQUOS, KIOXIA, Digital Garage, Tokio Marine & Nichido Anshin Life, Amazon Prime Video and Nature Lab, and The Battle Cats campaign for PONOS with R/GA (2024). He has made music videos for King & Prince and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, and directed the 2020 documentary feature MAN WITH A MISSION THE MOVIE -TRACE the HISTORY-. He has worked under the name Chenko Tsukagoshi since 2016.
