Tokyo-based film director and editor, Creative Director at Cutters Studios Tokyo. Came up entirely through the company, joined its Future Filmmakers Program, then progressed to Assistant Creator and Creator before becoming a Director. As a director he has led campaigns for Sony, adidas, American Eagle, Lexus, Nissan, GQ, Porsche, the Japan National Tourism Organization, Mizkan, MyProtein and Desigual. Trilingual and, in his own words, 'culturally weathered', with a knack for stories that transcend nationality and language; makes it his mission to go against the grain and subvert traditional images. Also works as a photographer, and has previously been an editor at Fred & farid Shanghai. IMDb credits include 'Stay' (2018) and 'The Hunt' (2011).
