Emari Hosoya is a director and planner at OND°, the creative unit of Tohokushinsha, which she joined in 2019 after almost four years as a production manager at Nibankobo; she made her directing debut in 2021. She directs TV and web commercials and comedy-led web content, favouring strong art direction and funny ideas made charming and elegant, for clients including Recruit's Hot Pepper Gourmet, Suntory, Taisho Pharmaceutical, Google, Asahi Soft Drinks and KFC. Her Kurashi no Market film 'Ochikomisugi na Shitsuren Song' won the BOVA 2022 Grand Prix and a 2022 ACC Bronze (Film B), and she was a JAC Award 2022 medallist.
