Began his career at CBS/Sony Group, then Sony Corporation's PR/Advertising DIVISION as assistant producer running events at the Ginza Sony Building, where he began producing exhibitions for contemporary artists. Moved to New York in 1991, shifting from music to film as an editing engineer and cinematographer across TV and movies. Returned to Japan and worked freelance as set director, cinematographer and theatre director before founding drawing and manual. Hosted the 1997 motion graphics exhibition at Axis Gallery, Roppongi, self-hosted, 45,000 visitors, and is known as the founder of Japan's motion graphics movement. Founded design studio Standard Series Inc. In 2003.
