Tokyo Filmmaker and director, known as DUTCH_TOKYO, who is also a working musician, guitarist and VJ of the band yahyel, with whom he played Fuji Rock in 2016 and 2017. Self-taught in motion graphics; began directing live action with Suchmos’ “YMM” (2015) and made their “Stay Tune” (2016), which passed nineteen million views after its commercial placement. Selected for the 100 Video Artists directory in 2017, and picked at 24 to direct Utada Hikaru’s “Oblivion feat. Kohh”. Since then: Fujii Kaze, BiSH “Rhythm” and others, Arashi, Wednesday Campanella, Kenshi Yonezu, glay, Gesu no Kiwami Otome., Hinatazaka46, kandytown, Tempalay, grapevine, Taichi Mukai, Yogee New Waves (as camera assistant) and Young Juju (as cinematographer). Wrote and directed the short Saihate Rebi #004 The Long Line of Winter with music by yahyel and Soshi it. Known for an Analogue Film Method, and for casting non-Japanese performers in yahyel’s videos. Navigator on J-wave 81.3.
