German photographer and director known for a provocative, dynamic visual style with strong composition and vivid colour. Trained as a photographer with the journeyman’s examination, then studied photography at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences before leaving early for New York; exhibitions in museums and galleries worldwide followed, with several books published by the Berlin art-book publisher PogoBooks. Work has appeared in Vogue, Dazed, love and Numéro Berlin, and he has worked with Gucci and Chanel. Based between Paris, Berlin and Los Angeles.
