Ukrainian music video and film director, designer, stylist and photographer, active since 2001. Influenced by 1990s MTV, Cruel Intentions, Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo+Juliet and Wes Anderson, and known for angular, adrenalised camerawork, vivid colorimetry, humour and hyperreal production design. Began working with Ukrainian singer Monatik in 2016 and had directed fourteen of his videos by late 2020. Won the MTV VMA for best direction in 2021 with Lil Nas X for “Montero”, which was also her first heavily VFX-driven video, around 90 per cent animated, and was Grammy-nominated for Best Video; that year she also took Best Director and Best Pop Video at the UKMVAs. Nominated again for Best Direction in 2022 for Harry Styles’ “As It Was”, Billboard’s global number one song of that year. Director of the Year at the Hollywood Music Video Awards 2025, and three consecutive Ukrainian Yuna awards for Best Video Clip (2016–2018). Represented by Riff Raff in the UK and Holland for commercials, UnderWonder Content in the US, and Caviar Paris in France. Won best director at the UKMVAs in two consecutive years.
